'Fluids from other dimensions leaking through cracks in our reality. Colours out of space. Liquids at the mercy of strange physics. Events from the very corner of your eye' said Ben while taking a bite from a cookie he grabbed from the plate on the desk. 'Wow. This is delicious.'
'What?' Jeremy was quite lost.
'The cookie. I love these little chips of chocolate.'
'I meant "what" as in "what the hell are you talking about the contents of the room".'
'Oh. Well, exactly what I said. And sometimes some alien tech the purpose of which we have yet to understand.'
Jeremy stared at Ben sitting on the other side of the table. He understood there is no point in continuing the conversation.

'Definitely' replied Ben and grabbed another chocolate chip cookie from the plate.
