"The Temple" (colour variant 1)

"The Temple" (lighting/colour variant 1)

A piece of environment art I made some time ago inspired by the works of H.R. Giger. A mix of organic shapes and advanced technology.

Modelled and textured in Blender. Optimised for real-time environments (Unity HDRP/URP/Unreal).

The description of what was in my head went into a short story written before modelling (excerpt):

"(...) a building stood tall among the mists covering this dead, alien world. The massive metal structure twisted with organic shapes soaked into the subconscious triggering the imagination. Monstrosity. Was it industrial? Was it a place of worship? It was obvious no human (or at least no sane one) would design it, yet the mind wanted to see familiarity".
